James Lind Institute Collaborates With International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO for Masters Program

James Lind Institute announces its collaboration with the International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO, Rome, Italy for offering a Master of Science in Health Management via online mode.

​​​​James Lind Institute (JLI) a global training provider in areas such as clinical research, healthcare, public health, tropical medicine and other related fields has announced its collaboration with the prestigious International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO (Università telematica internazionale UNINETTUNO) - based in Rome, Italy to offer a Master of Science in Health Management. The program will be conducted fully online with training delivered via digitized materials, audio visual contents, recorded lectures, and other multi-media content. The program will also provide students with a unique opportunity to work as interns in Greece with one of largest European NGO 'EDRA'. The program is unique, and designed in a way that will allow participants to earn an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Stage 1 and then a Master of Science degree in Stage 2 of the program. The program can be completed in one and half to two years which is ideal for most students and working professionals. The Stage 1 will allow participants to earn 32 credits while the full masters degree will offer 90 ECTS credits.

The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, established on 15th April 2005 by the decree of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, delivers academic titles having a legal value in Italy, Europe and in the Mediterranean Countries, for first-cycle (bachelor) degrees, specialisation degrees (master), doctor’s degrees and master’s degrees. In the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO distinguished lecturers of important universities worldwide deliver their courses in the Internet-based real and virtual spaces in Italian, Arabic, English, Greek and French.

UNINETTUNO takes origin from the training model of NETTUNO - Network per l’Università Ovunque, a consortium of 43 Italian and foreign universities with which, since 1992, thousands of Italian and foreign students obtained a distance university degree thanks to television and the Internet. More details about the Master of Science in Health Management:

The program will provide students with a deep understanding of healthcare from the perspective of developing as well as developed regions and will provide students a platform to catapult their careers in the domain of healthcare. The program will be be conducted in two stages with Stage 1 being conducted by the James Lind Institute. In Stage 1 students can opt for one of three Advanced Postgraduate Diploma programs (Healthcare Management, Public Health Research or Tropical Medicine) and upon completion will be transferred to Stage 2. This is the upgrade stage during which all credits earned in Stage 1 will be transferred towards the Masters degree. Stage 2 will be conducted by the International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO.

Upon completion of both stages a Master of Science in Health Management will be awarded by the International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO.
